At the City Council meeting on June 12, 2007, the City Council approved a new process for the distribution of HOT funds. Applications for funds should be sent to the Boerne Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). An 11 member HOT Advisory Board will be appointed by the Mayor to provide input and oversee the distribution of the HOT funds. The CVB will manage the application process and the HOT Advisory Board will recommend to the City Council those organizations to receive funds.

There is an application for funds to be used for special events and a seperate application for funds to be used for other than special events (i.e. capital outlays). If your organization chooses to apply for HOT Funds, the applications are due to the CVB, 1407 S. Main, Boerne, TX 78006 no later than July 18, 2007.
