There are some exciting things going on at Enchanted Springs Ranch. They are beginning a movie production titled “Palo Pinto Gold”, written by Anthony Henslee. Production will begin in the fall and finish up in early February. Anyone with period clothing that would like to be considered for a part as an extra, please e-mail BECKY@ENCHANTEDSPRINGSRANCH.COM.

QUOTES FROM FILM PROFESSIONALS ABOUT THE RANCH:

"As a potential film and television location, Enchanted Springs Ranch has three essentials going for it.  The landscape is varied and romantic.  The owner/operators are enthusiastic and committed.  And, most importantly in today's economic times, the facility is very close to a major airport and big city services and manpower.  Add these essential elements to the rustic buildings, the collection of genuine antique wagons and the thousands of authentic props and pieces of frontier period set dressing and you've got just about anything a period film production could require...and all this not more than half an hour from one of the nation's major airports."
Frank Q. Dobbs
Producer of A PLACE CALLED HOME, THE LAST C0WBOY, JOHNSON COUNTY WAR, TEXAS RANGERS,
and the Emmy Award-Winning documentary, THE LEGEND OF BILLY THE KID

"Enchanted Springs Ranch is a wonderful new addition to the many existing resources available in Texas for motion picture and television production. Situated only 25 miles northwest of San Antonio, Enchanted Springs Ranch has constructed a fairly elaborate Western town that will meet the needs of most producers seeking an easy-to-get-to location that hasn't been seen before over and over again. Comprising 86 acres, Enchanted Springs Ranch features a beautiful stream and spectacular, unspoiled Texas Hill Country vistas. Plenty of horses and a number of vintage wagons are available on site and new features are being added all the time."
Robert A. Nowotny
Teocalli Entertainment
Producer of BILLY GALVIN, THE RADICALS, FALSE RIVER and the Emmy Award-Winning documentary, THE LEGEND OF BILLY THE KID

"Producers I take to Enchanted Springs Ranch are truly impressed - and not just with the authenticity of the town itself, but with the full service offered by owners Steve and Vicki Schmidt.  The ranch is already a valuable asset to the film industry here in San Antonio, and with more and more productions adding to the sets every month, we're well on our way to having the most complete western set in the state."
Drew Mayer-Oakes
Film Marketing Manager
San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau

"I
wanted to say thank you after a truly enjoyable day of work at the Enchanted Springs Ranch. From the moment we contacted the ranch up until the minute we wrapped our shoot, the entire experience could not have been more pleasant....Next time OLN is in the San Antonio area, we will certainly put Enchanted Springs Ranch at the top of our list when we're looking for a location."
