The Kendall County Fair supplies home grown fun in a Carnival, Rodeo and Livestock Show. There are Homestead Heritage Exhibits, a parade, multitudes of food & craft booths, live music, clowns, children's activities and each evening is capped with a dance.
The Kendall County Fair has been an icon in the Hill Country community since its inception on Sept 4, 1905. Boerne residents gathered together to share agricultural information, recipes and news of events. On July 1, 1913, the Kendall County Fair Association gained a charter as a nonprofit from the State of Texas. The Ferdinand Ludwig Von Herff family deeded 55.6 acres of land to the KCFA to be used for its annual county fair and for public events. For over 100 years, the citizens of Boerne have enjoyed and continued these traditions.
