The new face of Boerne’s “Hill Country Mile” will debut May 12-15 with the “More Than Just a Mile” weekend celebration! The weekend kicks off Thursday, May 12, when more than 30 retailers and eateries will stay open until 9:00 p.m. offering great deals--a fun girls' night out! Then bring the family all weekend long to experience down-home hospitality, unique shopping and dining and a stroll along the beautiful trails in River Road park. Take in sculptures that are part of Art al Fresco, Boerne's outdoor art adventure, and experience some of the city's historic architecture too. Whether you're a regular visitor to the Hill Country Mile, or haven't seen us in a while, you'll find something fresh and new at More Than Just a Mile weekend.

Hill Country Mile Unveiling

The Hill Country Mile’s new look will be unveiled during a ribbon cutting celebration with the City of Boerne and local dignitaries. Hosted by:  Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce

The Farmers Market at the Cibolo

Location: Herff Farm at Cibolo Nature Center, 33 Herff Rd - 9:00am - 1:00pm

Art al Fresco

Art al Fresco is a walkable adventure for visitors and residents throughout the Hill Country Mile, and along Boerne's Trail system. Download the Otocast App for a narrated tour!

Boerne Market Days

This long-standing event has become synonymous with great shopping in an outdoor setting with artists, craftsmen and vendors sharing their creative talents and wares to the background music of some of Texas' best home grown musicians.

Location: Main Plaza - 10:00am -5:00pm

Fog at Hillington Ranch: Photographs of David Langford

Location: Patrick Heath Public Library, in the Gallery, 451 N Main St. - All Day

4th Annual Art Waddle

Stroll, ride bikes and picnic along Cibolo Creek while viewing paintings, illustrations, jewelry, pottery, sculpture and more, hosted by neighbors in their yards in The Flats of Boerne. Works by more than 30 artists will be for sale, and the event will help support Art Camp scholarships at the Cibolo Nature Center.

2nd Thursday Open House

Come early, stay late! More than 20 shops and restaurants along the Mile will stay open until 9 p.m. offering special discounts and surprises.

Location: The Hill Country Mile- Until 9:00 p.m.

Second Saturday Art and Wine

Spend the evening at local galleries and enjoy complimentary beverages and hors d'oeuvres along with fantastic art. Look for the 2nd Saturday Banner at participating locations.

Live at the Library concert with Silk Sojourn

Syrian clarinetist and composer Kinan Azmeh is a member of Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble.
