Welcome to Art al Fresco, Boerne’s public art program!  What is Art al Fresco? It is an outdoor, or "fresh air", exhibit of public art.

Boerne’s 1st Annual Art al Fresco Public Art Exhibition will opened to the public on September 19, 2015 . Art al Fresco is an exciting “art on loan” program, created by the City of Boerne and juried by the Public Art Competition Committee.

The sculptures are located throughout our historic downtown—known as Boerne’s Hill Country Mile—and along Boerne’s Trail system, making the discovery of each piece a walkable adventure for visitors and residents.

Help pick "Boerne's Choice" by voting for your favorite sculpture! The artist voted “Boerne’s Choice” will be recognized by the City at the close of the competition.

The sculptures are for sale and the City will have the option to purchase at least one of the sculptures for its permanent collection.

Boerne's Art al Fresco Public Art Competition is sponsored by the City of Boerne and Boerne’s Hill Country Mile in partnership with The Boerne Convention and Visitors Bureau.

This program is the result of years of collaboration between the City of Boerne and the local arts community. Special thanks to everyone involved for your vision and dedication to the arts and Boerne’s quality of life.
