Tours and tastings on Fridays & Saturdays. The founders and a small staff produce 4 traditional and true-to-style ales, along with seasonal offerings. Open Monday-Saturday, A relaxed yet professional and casually sophisticated atmosphere that defines good taste. Ask for recommendations from trained wine specialists. Enjoy something new by trying a few selections from the unique Enomatic wine dispensers. Cigar aficionados can treat themselves to a selection from the humidor. Tapas and pizza are available inside or around the fireplace on the back patio.
3. The Dodging Duck Brewhaus & Restaurant -402 River Rd,/830.248.3825
Open daily. The Duck introduced craft beer to Boerne in 2002. It was the first brewery to open in Boerne since the 1870’s. This Bohemian Brewery has virtually no contact with light or air until it hits your glass.
4. Drink Texas Biergarten-256 S. Main St,/830.755.6449
Open Wednesday-Saturday. An outdoor beer and wine garden in downtown Boerne with live music on weekends. This is the perfect afternoon stop while shopping Main St. A popular pit stop and gathering place for tuckered out husbands.

Located next to Boerne City Lake Park. They have 80 craft beers and ciders on tap, an assortment of wines as well as beverages for the kiddos. Random is a great family joint boasting activities for the kids including an in ground monster bounce, regularly scheduled live music and a handful of quality food trucks on site.

With over 25 beers on tap, you can enjoy some of the best craft beers from local Texas breweries. They also feature amazing Texas wines from vineyards like Sister Creek and Becker. Take advantage of their FREE shuttle service to the Guadalupe River where you can enjoy a day of tubing, canoeing, or even kayaking and then be shuttled back to The Roundup to enjoy a delicious meal, Live music, cold beers, and more! Kiddos will enjoy the playground with a 30’ outdoor obstacle moon bounce course and a dog park onsite for your furbabies.

Open Thursday-Sunday. Located on a 56 acre estate with 20 acres of vines; they offer wine tastings, winery tours & special events. Many of the materials for the winery construction were sourced from the property itself. The inspiration for the winery’s name came from the distinctively knotted, twisted and bending branches of the majestic live oak trees on the estate.
9. Sister Creek Vineyards-1142 Sisterdale Hwy./830.324.6704/Sisterdale
Open 7 days a week because wine never sleeps! The winery is housed in an historic 1885 cotton gin. Twelve miles north of Boerne, it lies between the cypress lined East and West Sister Creeks in Sisterdale.

Open Thursday-Monday. Located 2.3 miles north of Kerrville (I-10 Exit 508). Kerrville Hills Winery boasts a unique tasting room built on the footprint of a Kerrville homestead overlooking the Guadalupe River Valley. The home’s original double-sided fireplace & unique rustic décor remain, creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere where you can view the winery through a huge picture window.

Open Thursday-Sunday. The name “moonshine” comes from the days of prohibition when people would work their stills under the cover of night. Today, though officially labeled a “specialty distilled spirit,” their moonshines retain the earthy abundance that only native Texas prickly pear cactus and jalapeños could produce. The tasting room and bar are warm, spacious and inviting. Take a tour and enjoy a unique mixed drink.

In 1998, Singing Water Vineyards was founded with the notion that superior, hand crafted wines are best enjoyed in the serenity of nature and with our dearest companions. The Wine Bar in Welfare is located in the cozy loft of the renovated Goat Barn or on the patio at the Welfare Café.
