Running isn’t your thing you say? We have you covered with a paddle race at the lake and a dirty obstacle course race nearby.

Proceeds benefitting the Kendall County Law Enforcement Agencies. Grab your running shoes, family and friends and come run or walk the gentle trails of Cibolo Nature Center. Light Refreshments to follow.

ThunderdashThunderDash- Saturday, September 24, 2016, Comfort, TX

The Original ThunderDash is a 5K mob run with obstacles that include but are not limited to mud climbing, mud crawling, mud jumping, etc. Located on a beautiful piece of land outside of Comfort Texas with natural mud pits, 30 foot deep quarries to climb in and out of and much much more. The obstacles are man-made, nature-made, man-made natural obstacles, and naturally man-made obstacles. Many of the obstacles will encourage team efforts for easier completion so call your buddies and sign up today.

St Peters 5k Run/Walk/Wag- Saturday, October 1, St. Peter’s Catholic Church

Show up early and bring your four legged running buddy for the blessing of animals. Enjoy a route mapped through beautiful Historic Boerne. Kids run free! Afterward partake in live music & refreshments. First 200 participants will receive a Sweet Swag Bag with a shirt and snacks.

Hop off the pavement and head for the water for this race! This first year event will benefit the RMYA Meadowland. It’s open to paddle boarders/kayakers/canoers of all levels and ages. Activities following the race will take place just across the dam at Random. Check out the link for all the details on divisions and paddle craft guidelines.

I Am Second® 5 & 10KFun Run-October 8, 2016, Boerne Roads & Trails

The 5k Run route begins at the Boerne HS Stadium and will take you along beautiful Currey Creek Trail before returning to the stadium. The 10k route also enjoys the Currey Creek Trail as well as the Old Number 9 Greenway Trail. Most all portions of the run are on paved surfaces. I Am Second® is a movement helping people to live for more than just themselves. Actors. Athletes. Musicians. Former Addicts. That regular guy or girl working a 9-5 job. But most importantly, people like you. Find your place in the movement. You can start by running or walking with us this year. Enjoy the Hill Country trails while running or walking with I am Second this October.

Aid the Silent, a nonprofit for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, is an organization dedicated to equip deaf children/teens with the necessary tools and resources to reach their full potential. Come run for the cause!

Treat yourself to the best Halloween 5K, 10K, and Kids Mile around!! Come for the RUN and stay for the FUN! Halloween just isn't Halloween without the treats! After the race, runners will have lots to celebrate and stick around for. There will be food, music and fun for the whole family!

Turkey Trot - Boerne5th Annual Turkey Trot, 5k & 10k-Saturday, November 18, 2016, Boerne Roads & Trails

The 5th annual 5K/10K, Fun Trail Walk, Youth Mini Race takes place on a scenic city run. It starts on the west by Main Plaza and follows the Old #9 trail. It will split off for the 10K. The Trail walk is a meandering mile down by Cibolo Creek. The Turkey Trot is one of the Hill Country's top races. The first 500 participants are guaranteed long-sleeve tech shirts. The 2015 race had a little over 550 register, so register early to ensure a shirt!
