Online Program Via Zoom Webinar
Holiday Book Club Brunch Featuring Author Laurie Notaro, Fri., Dec. 4th @ 11:30 am
Friday, December 4, 2020
Laurie Notaro is a New York Times best-selling author from Oregon, and known for her funny non-fiction books, as well as her novels. "Crossing the Horizon" is her latest novel, which is based on real heroines: "It’s 1927. Charles Lindberg has inspired millions but no woman has yet embarked on trans-Atlantic flight. Three women, based on real aviatrixes from the early years of aviation, determine to make their mark on history and set out on a thrilling but dangerous mission." Laurie will join us from Oregon, via Zoom, to discuss her books. This is a free program and anyone can join in, but the first 20 people in the Boerne area to register will be able to pick up a free "Christmas Goodie Bag" to enjoy while they are watching the program, from home. Books can be purchased through our book festival website. Any books purchased through us will come with a signed bookplate, by the author. And the Library will receive a percentage of the sales. Signed books make great holiday gifts!
