Escape to Boerne Giveaway!
It’s not a secret. We could all use a break from the everyday and some fresh air to clear our minds. Today is your lucky day! Courtesy of the Boerne Visitor Center, and a hand full of our local partners, we are giving our friends in the digital world the opportunity to win a weekend escape to the hills for two! To enter to win this package, follow the instructions on our Facebook page (follow this LINK). While you are there, please make sure you’re following us, and our generous partners on Facebook! There is so much going on there and we LOVE to give away FREE stuff all the time!! Check out the details below for this getaway opportunity.
Two nights in an adorable romantic rental for two that is only steps away from the Hill Country Mile. YES PLEASE! Our friends at James Street Livery Guesthouse welcome you with open arms to stay in their brand new space. The property is quaint and has a modern feel with a strong nod to Boerne’s historic past with very intentional décor choices. History buffs will get a kick out the accents! Their location could not be more perfect. Being half a block off of Main St., in the heart of downtown Boerne, makes their spot perfect for jumping into the action and provides great walkability for shopping, dining and events.
While you are in town, you’re going to have to eat! Start your day off with a convenient walk down Hauptstrasse (Main St.) to free breakfast each day. Bear Moon Bakery is a hop, skip and a jump to the south of the Guesthouse. They are known for their FABULOUS breakfast buffet and baked goods. They are offering the all you can eat breakfast buffet and coffee beverages for two people in this package. Take it from a local…don’t leave without a pig in a blanket (they have them on their buffet). Mmmmmm! A seat on the Bear Moon porch is one of the best places to watch Boerne be Boerne. Locals and visitors alike pass by, making this one of the best people watching perches in town.
Day two breakfast (or day one if you prefer) is complements of The Dienger Trading Co. My go to breakfast order is the Dienger House Breakfast (Two sunny-side-up eggs atop ripe avocado and tender Klein Smokehaus pork loin, resting on a hearty slice of sourdough toast. With pan-fried country potatoes.) but everything is fabulous. Coffee fan's rejoice! If it can be brewed; hot or cold, it's on the menue. (Iced Coffee, Cold Brew, Espresso, John Wayne, Macchiato, Affogato, Cortado, Cappuccino, Americano, Latte, Tres Leches Latte, Vanilla Latte, Mocha Latte, Mochalita, Caramel Macchiato, Miel, Frappuccino, & BREW of the DAY)
There are so many options to explore once you’re in Boerne from hitting the trails in town, to checking out the Art Al Fresco public outdoor art exhibit, to meandering and shopping the Hill Country Mile and taking the self-guided Historic Walking Tour. Venture a little further out from downtown to discover why we are a Texas Hill Country ecotourism hotspot in one of our many local parks or head down under to one of our two show caves. This free package includes up to 4 tickets to the Cave Without a Name! The scenic drive into the hills is its’ own adventure but the sight that will really amaze you is underground. The cave is a consistent 66 degrees year round. This is a welcome escape from the Texas heat that is sure to come.
We hope you are excited about the prospect of a Boerne adventure. Enter to win on Facebook before June 16th for a chance to win!!

My husband pastor's a small church so an opportunity to pull away from serving others to refresh ourselves is a welcome blessing. Although we are fairly close to the Boerne area, we have not been able to "stop and smell the roses" there
And would love the getaway.
Would love a chance to go
Would love a chance to go back to Boerne. Discovered this refreshing gem of a town several years ago when our daughter got married near there. Boerne just feels like home and you can't help but want to come back for more.

By would this be great. Weve been married 24 years. We had our honeymoom close buy and haven't been back yet, not because we haven't wanted too , but life and money has always been a problem.

This would be a wonderful get away for my husband and I. My husband has glaucoma and is rapidly losing his vision. We are trying to do and see as much as we can given our finances before it will no longer be possible for him.
We just moved to Nunpew
We just moved to Nunpew Braunfels, 6 days ago, and after packing and setting up a new home, this would be a much needed and wonderful break.
