James Kiehl River Bend Park is a serene 25-acre natural area with grassland, woodland, and riparian habitats. The park gives access to a 1,634 foot stretch of Guadalupe River frontage that was long known only to locals. It is now an easy take out point for a paddle trip. Enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming and relaxing. The mile and a half of trails are great for fun, exercise, bird watching, wildlife viewing and nature study.
Hunting is not permitted. Dogs allowed on leash. No Potable Water - Don't forget to bring water for you and your dog. Conventional and ADA accessible latrines provided.
