Top Stops for Christmas Décor on the Hill Country Mile

Photos cannot do these businesses justice. Our Hill Country Mile is brimming with Christmas spirit and dripping with stunning decorations. There is something for everyone because each store has its own unique style. It’s worth taking a walk and shopping the “mile” to see all the beautiful adornments.

The Christmas Shoppe is a must if you’re scouting festive decorations! The name says it all and there is a different tree in every corner and several along the walls and even on the ceiling and they are all FILLED with every ornament imaginable.

The Flower Shop is just north of the Cibolo Creek and has easy parking. They are known for their Christmas window displays and locals wait to see what the latest and greatest Shirley Wilson creation will be at the beginning of the holiday season.  Once you’re inside the variety of trees is so cool. There is a “Man Tree” and an “Elf Tree” just to name a few.

The Burlap Horse also has multiple large trees to ogle over and they are as beautiful as they are classy. They are a great location for finding that perfect stocking stuffer or Christmas surprise. The Burlap horse is located south of the creek in a sweet shopping "cove" with with a convenient parkinglot and neighbors like Two Trick Pony & Vintage on Main they are worth the stop.

Right next door is Vintage on Main and their trees are truly unique! They may be small in size but they are full of character just like the store that they currently call home. One is entirely made of vintage broaches!

Just over the creek across Main St. from the Flower Shop is the Victorian Rose. She may be new to the Mile but she is celebrating with a bang and has multiple trees decorated in Victorian style as well as an adorable “Bird Tree” (my personal favorite!)

The City Center is located in the middle of the Hill Country Mile and houses 4 different stores (Las Finezas, Baby Love Boutique, Lunamor, The Art of Eloquence) and their lobby hosts 6 different Christmas Trees that are as unique as the stores that the building houses. With ample parking just outside it’s easy to see why shoppers love to stop here for their holiday shopping needs.

If you prefer a more natural look to your tree The Red Rooster has several to choose from and you can walk out of the store with the whole thing if you feel like your home decoration scheme is missing a perfect tree!

The Patrick Heath Public Library may not be a store but they do not disappoint when it comes to Holiday décor. The focal point when you enter the building is their 15 foot tree in the main lobby however as you meander through the 2 story building through the youth department and beyond you will see that the library staff has pulled out all the stops and has covered the joint in Christmas!

Jac’s Personal Touch does just what their name suggests all year round but their Christmas tree options for your own home are so varied that they will give you several options to find just the right way to add your own personal touch on the Christmas theme in your own home.

If you love the vintage look and an aluminum tree is what your heart desires Hill Country Antiques has multiple trees (large and small) throughout the store with the brightly colored glass and aluminum ornaments adorning glittering boughs that will remind you of yester year.
