3 Boerne Christmas Market Opportunities!

Skip the mall crowds and switch up your Christmas shopping routine this year! There are three holiday shopping events in town to find the perfect Christmas gift for your loved ones right here in Boerne, and you'll want to see the goodies at all of them! While you’re at it, we bet you will find some small-town Christmas magic along the way.

Oma’s Christmas Craft Fair –

December 1st and 2nd are going to be two days you won’t want to miss. For anyone who loves the idea of giving hand-crafted gifts, this is going to be your shopping event. Shop through 3 buildings full of vendors selling handmade, handcrafted merchandise that you can’t get anywhere else. There will be gift ideas for every age. There will also be time for photos and visits with Santa, a bake sale, food and drink concessions, and door prizes! 2-day admission is $5 per person, and kids who are 12 and under get in free! Get a dollar off your admission when you bring either 2 canned goods, or 1 unwrapped toy as a donation. Parking is free, and the festivities take place Saturday from 9AM-5PM, and Sunday from 10AM-4PM!

Christmas Market Days –

If you’ve never been to a Boerne Market Days event, this is your chance to get a double-dose of it! Throughout the year, Market Days makes its way to Boerne’s Main Plaza on every second weekend of the month hosting dozens of shopping and food vendors. During the month of December, there are TWO weekends you can plan to attend this awesome shopping event. December 8th and 9th will kick things off with a traditional holiday celebration that will have an emphasis on holiday handmade décor and other goods. Local musicians will play in the background as you peruse and meander through the booths. Make sure to get your picture taken with Santa Claus!

Cowboy Christmas Market Days –

On December 15th and 16th, gear up for a western, cowboy-themed Market Days shopping experience! Everything you love about this event will be there including the vendors and food stands, but they will be carrying western, holiday-themed goodies. You can even opt for Texas food favorites like classic barbecue! While you’re shopping, keep an eye out for Cowboy Claus making his rounds with Cowboy re-enactors checking for those who are naughty and nice. If you’re naughty, you might get thrown in the western jail. Give the gift of the Hill Country when you visit these two events that are everything you love about the regularly scheduled Market Days with a Cowboy and Christmas twist! Market Days events always begin at 10AM.

*BONUS: Hill Country Mile

You can shop Boerne’s Hill Country Mile for one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts that you won’t find elsewhere. The hours of operation vary from shop to shop, and some may even keep extended hours during the holiday season. We keep an updated list of shops on the Visitor Center website. Feel free to peruse and reach out to any that peak your interest. They would love to hear from you! You’ll also love the lights and decorations that the shops have put out for the season. You’re sure to leave with your Christmas list complete and your heart filled with Christmas spirit!
